City Walks: Billings, Montana Virtual 360 Treadmill Walking Tour

We were spending time in Billings on our way home and decided to spend a couple days exploring. There’s so much more to see and do than we expected. Great breweries and restaurants, museums and indoor activities as well as trails and shopping. Tons of fun. I was able to take a morning and do a walk downtown. I think this will be the last of my 360 walking videos. They are just too much work for the results (EDIT: as technology has improved, I’ve been able to start filming some walks again with 360. Check the VR tab above). Hope that’s ok and I apologize to those who are using the goggles and vr headsets. Maybe as the technology improves I’ll be able to get back to them.

Billings has so much more to offer than what you see from the highway and hotel rooms, though it has a ton of those. It’s the largest city in Montana and has over 100K people. That’s BIG for Montana. It’s also a financial and convention hub. Oil and Gas used to dominate here but now it has Ag, tourism, and entertainment as well as a world class hospital and a branch of MSU. I highly recommend the Sassy Biscuit for breakfast and Last Chance Pub and Cider Mill for dinner.
