We did an update on post lock-down in this week’s treadmill video. This self guided walking tour is an update to the video we did in March in the middle of the pandemic lock down. We are in phase 2 opening in Montana and most places are open, with some reduced capacity and other safety measures. We are seeing a bit of a surge percentage wise like much of the country but with very low absolute numbers. It is Montana after all. The weather has been wonderful and everything is green and bright and warm. It was a great day for a treadmill walk. We hope you enjoy seeing the current situation in Bozeman, MT.
We start out by the Wilson Condos and across from the courthouse and history museum. I loop you around by the Emerson Center and then we get a nice view of the Lark Hotel. The Lark was refurbished many years ago from a run down old hotel into a mid century modern style boutique hotel. They have a coffee shop and an airstream that houses the Original Ice Cream company. Perfect for a warm day in early summer.
We head down main street before ducking into the North Side neighborhood by the Montana Ale Works. Did you know they still have a working grain silo downtown? We see a grain car stationed nearby.
Did you also know that Bozeman has a free and extensive bus line? It’s called Streamline and they can’t charge fairs due to the grants that helps fund them. It’s a great resource and helps cut down on traffic as well as getting people around that don’t have cars. The buses are clean and modern.
