In today’s walk at home video, I take you around the little town of Ennis, MT on a virtual tour on a sunny winter day. With a population of less than a 1000 people, it seems even smaller somehow. But, with the Madison Range towering to the east, the scenery makes it idyllic.

In the summer, Ennis hums with activity. People visiting Yellowstone National Park pass through and tons of Fisherman look to hook some trout in the Madison River. It’s one of Montana’s blue ribbon trout streams.
It’s a quiet Sunday morning as we walk through town. The wind blows a bit but not too badly. The main street has great restaurants, fly shops, museums, and other great places as well as a couple of parks. There are hotels and vacation rentals on either side of town and beyond. Just about an hour from Bozeman and West Yellowstone, Ennis has a wonderfully quiet small town feel. The mountains rise up in the distance and the snowy peaks display the wildness and ruggedness of the area.
