We only had a short time in Helsinki but it really impressed. I can’t wait to go back and see more of Finland.

Helsinki Finland Morning Walk – 4K City Walks – Virtual Walking Tours and Treadmill Video

This quiet morning Treadmill Video starts off at the train station as the city wakes up and walks back around to the Helsinki Music center and then back over towards the Hietalahti area and then back around to downtown. I love cities as they wake up. You get to see the local shops before they’ve put on their brave face for the day. I like to see the delivery vans and people having a friendly chat before all of us tourists throng in and change the dynamic. The previous evening, people flocked to the parks and markets in the beautiful summer weather Finland enjoys for only a brief time. Cafes did brisk business as people enjoyed the food, drinks, and the company of others in the late northern evening. In this morning walk, commuters made their way into town, I grabbed a quick coffee and pastry, and saw this city before it put on its public face for the day.
