We start our walk mid-morning under a bright blue sky, with sunshine spilling across the grassy hillsides that stretch between the mountains and the valley below. The Triple Tree Trail, maintained by the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, gently winds its way through a mix of open meadows, whispering aspen groves, and pockets of fir and pine.
