A rainy walk north of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lappland.

Jokkmokk, Sweden – Arctic Town in Lappland – 4K – City Walks:

Just north of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lappland, the little town of Jokkmokk is a center for lots of great arctic wild hiking and a wonderful Sami culture and history museum. Unfortunately, it was quite rainy the day we were there.

As I mention in the video, I’d love to come back in February for the Reindeer roundup. We actually saw a few as we drove the remote roads of the area. We hike several trails, visited a museum, and got certificates handed out by a local store for going above the arctic circle.

I highly recommend the Sami Folk museum as well in Jokkmokk.
