4K City Walks: National Museum of Scotland Tour in Edinburgh – Virtual Walk Walking Treadmill Video

If you get to Edinburgh, you really should visit the National Museum if only for the building. In this treadmill travel walk we do a walk through to give you a glimpse of what this wonderful museum has to offer. You can enter for free and they have a cafe and public restrooms / toilets which is handy but really the exhibits are fantastic. Not just history or science or art, it’s a great mixture of all of these and one of the top things to do when visiting Edinburgh. Our kids loved it even more than us adults. The building’s main atrium is a victorian masterpiece of ironwork and light. From how rockets work to tribal weapons of the pacific islands to natural history and stuffed critters. Located just a couple of blocks off of the Royal Mile, the Scottish National Museum is easy to find and easy to access.
We find it especially good activity for families with children. Many of the exhibits are interactive and our two boys love visiting. We go every time we are in Edinburgh and it’s one of their favorite family activities to do.

We’ll be posting several more walks from Edinburgh this trip over the next few days.
