Hello Walkers,
Today I’m back with a walk and talk adventure, and this time we’re exploring Convict Grade Road—an old, scenic route that winds between the Yellowstone River and a rugged line of cliffs. It’s a peaceful stretch with a lot of character, and even though it’s a windy winter day, there’s plenty to take in.
As I walk, I point out a golden eagle nest high up on the cliffs, and we catch sight of some mergansers cruising along the river. A few deer also make an appearance, moving quietly through the snowy brush. The wind adds a bit of drama to the day, but the views of the Absaroka Mountains and the icy river more than make up for it.
