Hello Walkers,
Today’s City Walk takes us through one of the most iconic and beautiful cities in the world—Paris, France. In this virtual treadmill walk, I start up near the majestic Sacré-Cœur Basilica in the Montmartre neighborhood, perched high on a hill with sweeping views of the city. From there, I make my way downhill through the winding streets of this historic artists’ quarter, soaking in the charm and Parisian character at every turn.
We pass cafés, boulangeries, and quiet little plazas as we descend, eventually making our way toward the Seine and across to the heart of Paris—the Île de la Cité, where the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral stands. Even with the cathedral still under renovation, it’s a stunning sight and a powerful symbol of the city’s resilience and heritage.
Along the way, you’ll catch glimpses of everyday Parisian life: street musicians, cozy bookshops, and locals going about their day. I’m still working on improving my filming technique, but I’ve been getting some great feedback lately, and I’m excited to keep learning and making these walks better with each video.
Paris is one of those cities that rewards slow travel, and walking is the perfect way to experience its details—the architecture, the street life, the rhythm of it all. Whether you’re using this walk as a bit of motivation for your treadmill routine or just want to experience a peaceful wander through the City of Light, I hope it brings a bit of Paris magic to your day.
