We see some great shops and old buildings in Pocatello city walk

We stopped into Pocatello when @TravelingMel had a gig with Visit Idaho. It’s a great little city with a fun and historic downtown. They have a lot of interesting museums and restaurants. The local Idaho State University has a great little natural history museum. Positioned on Interstate 15, it has a nearby Shoshone – Bannock Reservation to visit and makes for a great virtual treadmill walking tour.

Old buildings in downtown Pocatello, Idaho
Love the buildings of the old west.

The downtown has the traditional shops, restaurants, and hotels with a mix of old and new buildings. I found it clean and quiet and very pleasant to walk. In addition to the downtown area, we stroll through some residential neighborhoods too. It’s a quiet weekend morning in this little city in SE Idaho. The streets are empty and the spring flowers are beginning to bloom on the fruit trees.
