Come and explore the famous amphitheater of Red Rocks

Red Rocks Amphitheater – Walking Trails for Treadmill – 4K City Walks Virtual Walk

We’re just on the edge of Denver up against the mountains. It’s been 25 years since I’ve seen a show at Red Rocks. Not much has changed so I thought I’d go back and show you around in a walking tour. It’s a fantastic venue for seeing music and other shows. I love the views from the top out over the city. The red rock formations are very cool and I’d love to back and see some more shows there. The steps/seating are pretty steep and there were some icy bits as well but I didn’t injure myself this time.

In 1927, the City of Denver purchased the area of Red Rocks; construction of the amphitheater began in 1936, and was opened to the public in June 1941.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed filming it.
