Salt Lake City Capitol Hill Downtown Tour – Virtual Walk Walking Treadmill Video
I filmed today’s walk on my way down to Southern Utah and the National Parks down there. Filmed in November, the fall foliage has changed and some of the trees have shed their leaves. Salt Lake City is a quiet, clean, and beautiful city with friendly people all around. It’s a quiet day in the capital but I enjoyed how easy it was to get around. Utah built its capitol building between 1912 and 196. We start this tour on Capitol Hill with its views of the surrounding mountains and there’s a small demonstration in the front. We then make our way down through some residential areas. I really enjoy seeing old historic neighborhoods and their buildings, especially on a bright sunny day.

Capitol hill is home to many historic buildings. The west-slope of the hill is a diverse neighborhood called “Marmalade Hill”, since the streets are named after various fruits that are often used in making marmalade. The east side slopes down sharply into City Creek Canyon. “the Avenues” lies over that small canyon and is another neighborhood. To the north of the Capitol building, the Wasatch Springs neighborhood is named after nearby natural hot springs. The sloping south face of Capitol Hill is sometimes referred to “Heber’s Bench” after former resident and Apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heber C. Kimball.

There are many hotels downtown salt lake city that we pass by in this city sights tour. Hotels in salt lake city can be found downtown or out by the interstate. There are many city sites in this city sightseeing tours and salt lake city tours. If you choose to visit salt lake city there are many slc events and salt lake city activities today and every day. So, sit back and check out these city sights as we tour around the salt lake city tourist attractions.
My apologies for the slight creak in parts. My Vertical Axis stabilizer needed to be oiled and I didn’t notice it until I’d filmed a few vids. Thanks for your patience.
