We’ve been wanting to spend some time in Tucson for years now and finally got the chance. The downtown area is smaller than I expected but still intriguing.

The Treadmill Virtual Walking Tour Video:

Tucson Arizona Walking Tour – Virtual Walking Tours for treadmill

Tucson Arizona sits down near the border with Mexico and despite having the second largest population in Arizona, it has the feel of a much smaller place. Admittedly, I filmed this virtual walking tour after about 12 hours in town so my knowledge is limited but we drove around quite a bit and explored.

Stage with arch of flowers near cathedral
I loved this stage with its colorful arch of metal flowers

We start our treadmill video near the St Augustine Cathedral downtown and make our way over past some incredible murals to the historic 4th street corridor. The first half is nice and refined and I have to think that it get’s lively on the weekends with lots of restaurants and clubs.

I found this parking lot filled with murals. Love discovering this type of think on our virtual walks

4th street has a more artistic, free living vibe to it. You’ll find smaller restaurants, book stores, a few bars, and more here. Again, I’m speaking naively and I’d love the chance to come down and spend more time in Tucson, exploring and sharing all the great things to do in the area.

We finish up by taking a side route through a charming residential neighborhood as well. I love the old style homes and even a classic old apartment building with mature trees all around. So fun to see and explore.

I really enjoy exploring old neighborhoods on our city walks because I find gems like this

Tucson is known for its bike opportunities as well and the infrastructure is obvious. You’ll see lots of bike lanes and boulevards. I hope you enjoy this city walk live tour of the downtown area.
