Budapest, Hungary Andrassy Avenue Tour – Virtual Walk Treadmill Exercise Video
Hello Walkers,
It’s Christmas time, and this year I’m spending the season exploring Budapest and the surrounding areas here in Hungary. I’ll be weaving several European walks into the schedule over the next few weeks to share the beauty and character of this part of the world. Don’t worry, though—I haven’t forgotten about our walks in Utah and Colorado. Those will be back in the mix soon!

Today, we’re going on a virtual walk through one of Budapest’s most iconic streets: Andrássy Avenue. I filmed this in crisp 4K to bring you along for the ride, whether you’re walking on your treadmill, relaxing at home, or just looking for a change of scenery. This historic avenue stretches out from the center of the city, and it’s packed with stunning architecture, local shops, elegant cafes, and that unique blend of history and modern life that makes Budapest such a fascinating place to explore.

I’ll be your guide as we make our way down the avenue. We start near the banks of the Danube River—just a stone’s throw from downtown—and stroll past grand buildings and tree-lined boulevards. Budapest is a city that feels alive with history, from its Austro-Hungarian roots to its vibrant present-day culture. Whether it’s your first time seeing the city or a return visit, I think you’ll enjoy soaking in the sights and atmosphere.

There’s something extra magical about walking through European cities during the holidays—twinkling lights, festive shop windows, the smell of roasted chestnuts in the air. Even if we’re not walking together in person, I hope this virtual tour helps bring a bit of that seasonal charm into your day.
Thanks for joining me on this walk through Budapest. More adventures to come—both here in Europe and back in the American West.
Keep on Steppin’
