City Walking for Treadmill

Zion NP Utah Pa’rus River Trail – Virtual Walk Walking Treadmill Video free tour

Hello Walkers,
Lace up and join me today for a peaceful stroll through one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the American Southwest—Zion National Park. I’ll be your guide as we walk the Pa’rus Trail, a scenic, paved path that winds its way from the Visitor Center along the Virgin River, all the way to the Canyon Junction shuttle stop.

Beautiful autumn colors combine with the red rocks of Zion

Zion is one of those places that takes your breath away the moment you arrive. Towering red sandstone cliffs rise dramatically from the desert floor, catching the light in a way that makes the whole canyon seem to glow—especially in the late afternoon, which is when I filmed this walk. The air was cool and clear, and I had the trail mostly to myself, which made the experience feel even more special.

The Pa’rus Trail is a gentle, accessible route perfect for a relaxing walk, whether you’re on foot, pushing a stroller, or rolling along in a wheelchair. It hugs the Virgin River, which meanders quietly beside the path, offering plenty of spots to stop and just take it all in. On this particular day, the fall colors were in full display—golden leaves fluttering down like confetti and carpeting the trail in warm, earthy tones. It was one of those rare, quiet moments where nature puts on a show and you feel lucky just to be in the audience.

Along the way, you’ll get views of the soaring cliffs, open meadows, and the occasional deer if you’re paying attention. The path crosses a few sturdy footbridges, offering different angles of the river and canyon walls. You’ll also notice interpretive signs here and there, adding context to the geology and ecology of the park.

This isn’t a strenuous hike—it’s more of a meditative meander. And sometimes, that’s exactly what you need. Whether you’re using this video for your treadmill walk, a moment of escape, or just a chance to explore somewhere new from home, I hope this brings you a little bit of the peace and awe I felt while filming.

Thanks for joining me for this little slice of Zion.

Keep on Steppin’
