2022 VR Roundup Parade Mules and Wagon
Every year on July 2nd, the Livingston Roundup Parade kicks of a long holiday rodeo weekend. For the last 10 years or so, my dad, “Big” Henry harnesses up his mules and drives in the parade. You’ll also see him in other parades around the state. I’ve tried several times to get some VR footage of the parade and always run into problems. I got a little bit in this one but just a short blip. I’ll keep trying.
The Roundup Parade has been going on since 1924 and is a July 2nd staple. It kicks off one of the biggest rodeos in the state on July 2, 3, and 4th. It’s fun to watch and a hoot to be in since it’s barely contained chaos that depends on the good will of the participants. In the end it’s just a lot of good community fun.
