🇮🇹 Dolomites Hiking Trail & Walking Tour- Sëlva Gardena – Italy Virtual Treadmill 4K
Today we walk through Selva di Gardena (aka Wolkenstein in Gröden in German), which sits up the valley from our vacation rental in Ortisei in the Val Gardena. It’s a charming little town that hugs the river down towards Ortisei. Geared towards hiking in the summer and skiing in the fall, we start our walking tour at the top and make our way downhill through town and along a trail on the far side. We get to explore the town and get amazing views of the peaks of Sasso Lungo and the various ski runs and a bit of fall color.
Unfilmed but still fun, we even explored an ancient WW1 tunnel. I loved walking these little towns of the Dolomites. They each have such wonderful individual charm and distinct personality and despite lying within easy walk of each other, seem so isolated and quietly cozy.
