One of our best walks in Wexford, Ireland

City Walks: Wexford walks, Ireland walking tour

We love this Wexford Walking Tour
After a lunch at the pub, we walk through the downtown area of the city of Wexford, Ireland in County Wexford. We start out in the pedestrian zone near Centenary Stores pub and make our way along the main street, past fishing boats moored at the waterfront, past the train station, and up to the ruins of an old abbey. We are loving Ireland and haven’t even been to Dublin yet. The country is incredibly friendly and beautiful. The rural rolling pastoral hills are stunning in early September.

If you’d like to explore more of Ireland, you might want to check out our other two walks from Gorey (where we stayed) and Dublin, the capital city. Or, of course you can pick from the drop down list on the right side of the site. Sláinte!

The second of our walks in Wexford County is in the little city of Gory
