Nature Walk in Montana’s Paradise Valley – Mallards Rest Rainy Spring Treadmill Trail – 4k – City Walks
It’s a cool rainy Spring day in Montana and we are returning to walk along the Yellowstone River near Livingston, MT and the National Park. The mountains are capped in snow and clouds and the wind blows through the grasses and trees but spring birds have arrived including meadowlarks and blue birds. Winter is melting away reluctantly and it’s only a few more months until Summer.
I’ll try to get another walk here in summer though the campground and boat ramp are closed due to the 2022 floods.
Our last walk here was in November and this time we have new calves in the pastures adjacent to the state land on which we are walking and phalaropes on a sand bar. Come along on our virtual treadmill scenery and trail while you walk at home. Less talking and more walking in this one. Keep on steppin’ -Henry
