Venice Italy Walking Tour and Virtual Treadmill Walk – 4K City Walks

We’ve moved on to the magical city of Venice. Venice has been nicknamed the “La Dominante,” “Serenissima,” “Queen of the Adriatic,” “City of Water”, “City of Bridges,” “The Floating City,” and “City of Canals.” It takes a hold on our imaginations and numerous artists have extolled its magical beauty and mystique. And while it may be all those things, Venice is also a place where local residents live, and shop for groceries, and have coffee and socialize. If you can take the time to get there early or late and off the beaten track, you can begin to enjoy the simple beauties of Venice. We’ll take you there on these walks. Certainly, see the big sights, but also take some time to get to know it.
The city dates back over 1000 years and has evolved as the world has changed. Today, with a population down to about 55,000.
This particular walk explores a bit of the south side of the Grand Canal, with its narrow waterways, vaporetto stops, traghetto ferries, museums, churches and more. Such a wonderful and beautiful place. Keep on Steppin’ -H
