We are back in Montana and finally starting to get some snow.

The Virtual Walk for Treadmill:

Livingston Montana Winter Walking Tour – 4k City Walks Video for Treadmill

This fun little walk starts out on the “Veterans Bridge”, aka 89 Bridge, aka KPRK Bridge. As mentioned above, we’ve gotten some snow the last few days but it’s been unusually warm. The snow was wet, melted a bit and refroze. This has made the walking a bit icy in places. However, Today we have some blue sky for our walk.

From the bridge, I’ll take you into town past some interesting businesses. I like to show these unique bits of a community because they help give a more robust picture of a place.

After that, I head back into the east side residential neighborhood and the eclectic homes there. Again, a residential lets me show some more interesting things that the brochures don’t cover. The east side has a charming mix of houses and designs.

After that we go to the fairgrounds to see the round showbarn and ice rink funded and run by generous volunteers. We head down past the high school, skate park, and lagoon and then up to beautiful and historic downtown. I’ll point out some restaurants, shops, and historic hotels there.

It’s snowy and icy but a beautiful joyous day to be out walking.
