We’ve walked through Livingston, MT several times before. I live here and love sharing it’s beauty and character with others. I take a slightly different route this time and start out by Meyers River View Trail. I go straight to the KPRK bridge over the Yellowstone river and give you a view to the south as the river flows through the fall foliage on the big willow trees.
I continue on down Highway 89 aka Park Street past the John Deere dealership and make a left over to Neptune’s Brewery where I try my hand at playing mandolin somtimes on Tuesday nights. I walk you past a grain elevator that’s been converted to condos and give you a glimpse of the train yards.
From there it’s through the east side neighborhood, past the city-county building, and on to downtown. I love the old store fronts and views of the mountains down main street.
