Have you even heard of the US National White Water Center? I hadn’t but I really enjoyed exploring it. In fact, it kind of blew my mind. The White Water Center is a non-profit swiftwater recreation and athletic training and competition facility for whitewater rafting, kayaking, and canoeing. It also has, rock climbing, ziplining, adventure courses, mountain biking, hiking, and ice skating (in the winter) which opened in 2006. Chattanooga’s South Side Walking Tour
Chattanooga Video for Treadmill Chattanooga, TN Virtual Walking Tours – City Walks in 4K Welcome back to Chattanooga and this time we walk in the Southside neighborhood which includes the Chattanooga Choo Choo. I always thought that was a train but it turns out it was a train station. It’s now an entertainment complex and hotel. The recent history of the Southside area can be seen in the beginning of our walk, in that old run down buildings either got torn down or renovated to create a charming neighborhood with quiet condo and tree lined streets as well as restaurants, […]
Chattanooga, TN Riverfront Tour
Chattanooga Tennessee Walking Tour – 4K City Walks and Virtual Walking Tours for Treadmill I’m taking a trip back east and I’m going to try to film as many walks as I can fit in. Today we are starting with Chattanooga, TN on the Tennessee River in the SE part of the state. The Tennessee River makes a great anchor for the city and the surrounding hills tower over the water on the west site. You can take a river tour in one of the amphibious vehicles and I think you can also take boat based river tours. The weekend […]
Paradise Valley, MT – Summer Walk
Today we are returning to Mallards Rest. It’s a fishing access site and section of State Land that we’ve walked in cold weather in previous years. A viewer requested a warm weather version so here we go. It’s a beautiful day in July about mid morning. We’ll walk along the rim of the slope and then down into the valley to say hi to some cows and see the Yellowstone River. From there, we walk back up the hill and then back down to the campground and boat ramp area that has been closed since the 2022 floods. The high […]
Cold Spring, New York near West Point
Welcome to the Hudson Valley. It’s a long way from Montana but we got the chance to take a short visit when TravelingMel got a gig in town. This is only my second walk that I’ve filmed in New York which seems a bit strange to me but the North East of the US is a blank spot in my library of virtual treadmill walks. The other one was in Corning, NY which was another great small town. Cold Spring, New York Walking Tour – Virtual Tours of Cities – 4K City Walks Treadmill Video @TravelingMel got a gig in […]

Taos, New Mexico Guided Walking Tour
Taos, NM City Walks – Stop Boring Treadmill Workout Habit ; Your New Way to Enjoy Cardio Workouts Welcome to TAOS, NEW MEXICO! Taos surprised me with its small stature. It has only about 6400 residents but tons of charm. I walked on a cold January afternoon so the city didn’t have a whole lot of bustle to it. We stayed in the historic Taos Inn, right around the corner of the Kit Carson Home and Museum and the Town Plaza. We had some really good food there as well at a Mexican restaurant. The next day, we went over […]

We took a road trip after our return from Italy to reconnect with family and have a few other adventures. I managed to squeeze in a few walks along the way from New Mexico (and one from Utah). The first one was in Carlsbad, NM. It’s famous for the nearby caverns. While @TravelingMel and Anders hiked the highest point in Texas (nearby) I took an hour to film this walk in Carlsbad. The town is out on the flat and on the edge of Oil Country. It has some interesting history to it and of course, the nearby caverns. The […]
